HELLO EVERYONE


Hope you are all delighted with the warmer weather, the longer days, and the flowers and greenery which seemed to have appeared so quickly. Spring is the season for new beginnings, spring cleaning of house and body, exercise, letting go of the same old stuff and saying hello to our creative self. Our diet changes too. Eat more raw fruits, and vegetables, eat less of the heavier foods. Enjoy!

  • FOR THE MIND: Happiness is a Feeling

  •  The secret of happiness is very simple. It is a conscious decision to be happy and an awareness of being happy. Happiness is an emotional feeling state.
    Sometimes it surprises me, when it occurs for no good reason. I did not win the lottery, or receive a present or good news. Yet I feel a warm, loving glow coming from my core. It happens when I slow down, count my blessings and allow myself to feel happy.
    Happiness creates more happiness, the same way negativity, brings in more negativity. Happiness is contagious, and allows me to share good feelings with others. As I focus my energy and attention on what is right in my life, I realize true happiness is born from correct thinking and the positive feelings which follow.

  •  Food today is so easy, so cheap, plentiful and fast that we forget that our ancestors spent most of their waking hours hunting, growing, producing and preparing meals.
    If we chow down, mindlessly, we are oblivious to the deep earth connection, from whence nourishment comes.
    When we eat slowly, with pleasure, we reconnect to the earth and to our bodies. The attitude of gratitude for food, makes dining a spiritual practice. Eating in this way, we will enjoy more and eat less.
    When I was in France, I noticed the art of food preparation and service, was revered. Meals were served with wine and desserts. The French remain slender eating small portions of food, slowly and gracefully. Meal time is a sacred art. It would be great for us to learn from this practice.

We will discover through weight loss visualizations and exercises, what prevents us arriving at and maintaining our "HAPPY WEIGHT". What you learn about yourself will positively improve eating choices, lifestyle and health. This fun class features lecture, discussion and creative imagery.

    IMAGERY AND MEDITATION FOR SUCCESS
    Thursdays, June 5,12,19: 6:15pm-7:45pm, $81

    Guided Imagery is a skill, and like all skills, it needs to be learned and practiced. This skill may be used for confidence building, self esteem, accomplishment transforming habits. Athletes use this technique to improve their game. One client, learned how to coach and lead her girl's basketball team to victory. Join us to create health, wealth, happiness, time or whatever you need in your life.
