HELLO EVERYONE


We are finally coming to the end of winter. March 9th marks the beginning of daylight savings time. March 20th is the Equinox, bringing more daylight and Spring.
Some clients have compared life, lately, to a roller coaster ride. Yes, there have been energy and astrological shifts creating personal and world transitions.
I thought it would be timely to offer 2 new classes for balance and relaxation. They are, PRACTICAL MEDITATION for the mind and HOLISTIC WEIGHT LOSS for the body. Please read descriptions below and Join Us!

  • FOR THE MIND: MORE LETTING GO

  •  Some of us have been forced to say goodbye to familiar people, places, and things. We must remember, LETTING GO, creates space for growth.
    Here are 4 strategies for transitional times.
    1. Talk to a friend, therapist, a cassette recorder. Writing in a journal can also bring peace of mind.
    2. Meditation helps. Imagination connects to infinite future possibilities, and new happiness.
    3. Determine what is really lost within. Be open to new possibilities for rebuilding. NEW is the key word. New interests, new friends, new job etc.
    4. Spend time expressing Gratitude for what you have.

  • FOR THE BODY: BONES AND TEETH

  •  Calcium is the key to strong bones and teeth. Magnesium and Vitamin D are essential, as well.
    Magnesium is responsible for relaxing nerves and muscles; building and strengthening bones and teeth; reducing blood pressure; and reducing muscle weakness and leg cramps. Good food sources of Magnesium are green leafy vegetables, salmon, seeds, beans etc.
    Vitamin D helps mobilize Magnesium and Calcium, The best source of Vitamin D is sunshine. It is also found in cod liver and fish oils, butter, egg yolk, and the correct Vitamin D3 Supplements.
