Hello Everyone,

Even with snow on the ground, we can celebrate the coming of Spring. March 21st is the spring equinox, when the length of day equals the length of night. It is the time for starting a new yearly and personal cycle. We have survived winter, and can look forward to beautiful flowers, green grass and our own rebirth.

  • FOR THE MIND
    Choices and Intuition

  •

Everything is a choice. Whether it be choosing our food, picking a movie, taking a job or choosing a plan of action, it is all the same. It is making a correct decision to fit our own needs and life purpose.

All good decisions are self based - even helping others. We get ultimate pleasure from all good deeds which we enjoy doing. It is those warm fuzzy feelings coming from love and service which make us feel fulfilled.

We need to be directed by our inner perception, as to what is good for us. Good decisions come from the awareness of who we are and what we need. If we are not self guided and strong, we will be swayed by others who think they know what is best for us. Others only know what is best for them.

It is easier to make decisions when we accept our intuitive wisdom. Intuition is a most powerful tool, which gets better and more accurate, the more we use it. We can intuitively try on alternative possibilities, like mental clothing, and test each one visually in our mind's eye. Our mind, body and spirit will smile happily for our number one choice.

Correct choices will always feel right as we experience increased energy and joy. Good decisions that uplift our energy turn out to be accurate in the long run. We need to "obey" our intuitive hunches and "gut feelings" which cannot be rationally explained. It can be minutes, days, months or years before we discover how insightful our choices have been.

    DIETARY GUIDELINES

These dietary guidelines come from the WESTON A. PRICE FOUNDATION. They make a lot more sense to me than "politically correct" nutritional guidelines which are supposed to make us healthy. All carbohydrates are not the same, all fats are not the same and all proteins are not the same. We cannot be healthy on plastic foods that are sold in the marketplace. We cannot do well with irradiated, processed, preserved, sugared, hydrogenated foods that may look good, maybe taste good but ultimately are not fit for human metabolism.

I was raised on healthy food, back when it was easy to buy fresh, naturally raised, unprocessed products. It is hard to believe that many of the old foods have been adulterated. Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies have morphed into sugary cereal. Aren't there enough sugary cereals? Is it any wonder our children are getting fatter and unhealthier by the minute. When they are not eating at home, they eat fast foods at school and restaurants. Food is prepared with can openers and French Fries has become a lunch. We need to teach our children to make healthy food choices and to exercise, and we need to eat wisely, to exercise and to set the proper example.

The following guidelines, may be helpful for us to choose foods which contribute to building healthy bodies. TO LEARN MORE CLICK HERE
