  •  Americans spend about $6 billion annually on diets and weight loss. Losing weight is not about Atkins, South Beach, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig or NutriSystem.
    Balanced eating for a balanced body means taking control of your food choices and the number of calories you ingest. Do you take in more calories than you burn? Burning calories depends on what you eat and your activity level.
    How fast and how efficiently are you burning calories? Do you make the proper food choices to balance your body?
    Some of us fare better with more carbohydrates, some with more protein. Eating correctly, will help you slim down, eliminate most naughty cravings, combat fatigue and support a strong, healthy and balanced body.
